• Objectives for patrolling Carolina North Forest (CNF) have been outlined by the UNC Forest Managers and are summarized here.
• Patrollers are asked to carry an emergency contact number card when patrolling these trails to report anything that needs immediate attention by the forest management (e.g., fire, emergency medical attention).
• Log books are positioned throughout the trail system in open mailboxes for patrollers to record their hours and record any notable activity during the patrol ride (e.g., helped trail users, note areas of trail that need maintainance / storm debris removal). Please indicate that your entry represents the mountain bike patrol next to your initials.
