Triangle Off-Road Cyclists

Why join TORC?

TRIANGLE OFF-ROAD CYCLISTS (TORC) was formed in the spring of 2005 to provide a more powerful and unified voice for the many different groups in the local mountain biking community. The primary goal of this club is to develop more trails and broaden the opportunities for off-road cyclists.

The club's founders include experienced representatives from a broad array of off-road cycling disciplines. In addition, these folks offer substantial experience and knowledge in several key areas, including sustainable trail-building, racing, and working with local governmental and land management officials.

We hope that together, we can enjoy our sport for many years to come on a growing network of new and improved trails.

While trail advocacy is a huge part of who we are, it is not all we are. TORC will also sponsor a range of events, including races, group rides, and skills events. Group rides offer similarly paced riders a chance to get out and stretch their legs and have fun. Skills events allow riders of all levels to participate in a day of learning new techniques and meeting new riding partners.

Being a TORC member certainly has its benefits. In addition to creating greater trail access in our area, more diverse riding opportunities, SORBA and IMBA affiliation and a more unified voice to land managers, you'll also get a discount at most area cycling shops. Club schwag will also be available to proudly wear at your next ride or TORC event. Please find the membership that's right for you and send it in today!
