Women's Skills Day -- October 1, 2006
On October 1st TORC held it's first Women's Specific Skills Day at Harris Lake County Park. We had about 30 women come out and had various skills set up in the field for all to try their hand at. After the field work we broke up in skill levels for trail rides. Several also tried a short, steep descent to test their newly learned skills. We finished the day with burgers and hotdogs. We plan to have more of these in 2007 at two or three different parks around the triangle.
