TORC and Unique Places to Save have been working on a new trail system at Pickards Mountain outside of Chapel Hill, NC. This exciting project will be a boon to mountain bikers and nature lovers in this part of the Triangle.

We worked with Nature Trails LLC to complete the first Phase of the project- 4 miles. 

Thanks to those of you who donated. A total of $82,000 was spent on this project. We are currently working on doing some finish work (look out for upcoming trail work days), parking logistics and procuring insurance.

We’ll save a grand opening celebration for the spring.
